Some weeks ago I searched for more films, I mentioned: Before Sunrise,
Pretty Woman, The Bridges... Brief Encounter, Falling in Love. They all have
in common a frame of a day, a night, some days, a week. What happens/inte
happens as a start, development and end? - and can it be 'used' in my work
with disability. I got many answers as you know. Years back I wanted to
understand these films in order to hve the right attitude for a rather
severe case of autism. Now I have taken the thought up again for my short
filmthoughts. I will include Same time next year and have seen today Lost in
translation. What a nice movie!!! My idea is to start with Before Sunrise
and have the phantasy of three alternatives: one of them can't come as
he/she experiences Love Affair. If they meet and do marry they perhaps
experience what Brief Encounter and The Bridges... discuss; a kind of memory
timeoutadultery to save the marriage or a periodical timeoutadultery as
shown in Same Time Next Year. The third option is to end a relation, mourn
and burry it before you start fresh, as in Falling in Love. Reading the
emails again I suddenly saw that, which passed me!, that Before Sunrise has
now Before Sunset. Just tonight I ordered the CD and R Ebbert wrote that in
nine years we can enjoy Before Sun??? nr 3. Like Same time next year....
