As we appear to be taking a break from film-related discussion, can I just ask a question?

These neo-not-liberal US thinkers who spend their time on this kind of forum berating the US's liberal complacency/capitalist agenda...will 200,000 south Asians have to be 'sacrificed' this Winter before they realise that there are much, much more important and immediate issues in the world than neo-con/neo-not-liberal navel-gazing?

Just a thought.
best
Damian

isn't it paradigmmatic?

as in it's not that the city HAD to be sacrificed -- if
that's so then AMERICA could be sacrificed by
extrapoloation so that the rest fo teh world could
breathe.

but many people via philosphic connection worship hitler
and stalin as they embrace their racism and their
polit-ick

i cite the waterworld factor -- waterworld was about
something. revieweres murdered it before it got into
theaters. everyone KNEW it stank as a film and so didn't
bother to see it and getits message about environmental
criminals.

does anyoen NOT know that there is a symbiotic
relationship between professional reviewers and people
with big cash who wish to maintain a level of mediocrity
in h'wood outget -- those who wil payreviewers to murder
films?

i have not seen Gigli but as i watched conan o brien and
others murdering the film -- and I looked at latina jen
lopez and caucasian ben affleck i realised that bigots
hate -- and would often use their influence to --

well t5here is no way that gigli was as bad as fucking
dysentery, as bad as AIDS and the Bomb....stinkers come
out every year but in Ayn rands words "evil is envy or
hatred of the good for being the good" and even though
mabny other of Rands observations are fraught with
philosophical inconsistency -- that one holds true -- as
people simply begin 'playa hatin' on poor jen cause she
is a getto girl who 'made it' and is well, now rich and
beautiful.

the talk about her rear end, childish and retareded
means little to me. it's a physical feature. but her
skin is a certain shade of brown, her name is lopez and
she is attractive and to spme that means SHE SHOULD BE
CLEANING TOILETS and not touching white boys like
Affleck.

and so Gigli as a film was killed. and maybe it was
dull. i think 90 percent of the shit that oozes forthe
from Hollywood sphincterheads is shit.

so when i see one particular crapfestbesing sngled out
and i see pretty jenny who obviously has feelings
getting savaged bythe establishment - i see the westernm
culture of rape maintaining their pose of white male
superiority -- cutting down on a female 'of color' --
putting her 'in her place'

racism is a philosophical choice, like logical
positivism or anarchism...
