Isn't this begging the question? I mean, why would anyone feel the need to
claim that 'film', and 'digital' are the same thing, or even close to the
same thing? And isn't the difference between the two mediums speifically
what makes them interesting insofar as opposition, or the forced encounter
with the different, leads to the production of the new or hybrid form which
leads to the enlarging of the discourse, and its critique?
just a thought.
