Hi
1. If you want to review previous messages or how to post to the
list, change or update your subscription (e.g. if you wish to pause
receipt of messages), etc, please visit:
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/env-ed-research.html
Please also note that the website contains an online discussion room
for list members which provides a synchronous 'chat' facility.
2. The abstracts for papers in volume 10 of the Canadian Journal of
Environmental Education are available online at:
http://www.uleth.ca/edu/research/ictrd/cjee/volume_10/
volume10abstracts.pdf
Further details about the journal are available at: http://

3. There's been a number of launch events around the world over the
past year for Unesco's decade of education for sustainable
development. I'd be interested to hear (on or off the mailing list,
in the discussion room, etc) what env-ed-research members see as the
immediate and longer term issues and challenges that it raises for
environmental education research.
For those of you interested in the recent London launch event (13th
December, 2005), see: http://www.unesco.org.uk/
DESD_Launch_Conference1.htm. The text of William Scott's talk at that
meeting, on "ESD: what sort of Decade? What sort of Learning?", is
available via the Centre for Research in Education and the
Environment at the University of Bath, http://www.bath.ac.uk/cree, or
directly via, http://www.bath.ac.uk/cree/resources/desduklaunchscott.pdf
Best wishes
