Manager - Education & Outreach
World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the global conservation organization leading
international efforts for a living planet, seeks a Manager of Education
and Outreach. Successful candidate will oversee community outreach
activities and program management, fundraising, and leadership training
for the department. Responsibilities include supervising staff and
consultants; coordinating capacity building initiatives with
conservation practitioners and other ecoregion stakeholders; strategic
planning, budget management, designing and implementing workshops for
educators and the public; coordinating activities in marketing and
membership services and drafting contracts and project budgets. The
successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in environmental
science, education, geography, or other related field and 7 -10 years
direct experience in environmental education. A master's degree is
preferable. Also looking for specific experience in managing
environmental education projects, strategic development; adult
learning; and designing and facilitating workshops and training
activities. Team player with an ability to work with diverse audiences
is critical.
