Netskills will be running the following workshops at Manchester University:
1. Detecting and Deterring Plagiarism (16th November)
This is a practical workshop for staff from further and
higher education who wish to find out more about the impact
of the web on plagiarism. As well as gaining a thorough
understanding of plagiarism issues, participants will
explore essay banks, online plagiarism detection services,
and, through discussions and scenarios, consider approaches
to deterring plagiarism.
2. e-Assessment: Tools & Techniques (17th November)
This workshop focuses on the tools available for creating online
assessment and the practical techniques required to use them
effectively. These tools will be considered in terms of the
functionality offered as well as their interoperability with
systems for the delivery and management of assessment.
