Detecting and Deterring Plagiarism (16th November) This is a practical workshop for staff from further and higher education who wish to find out more about the impact of the web on plagiarism. As well as gaining a thorough understanding of plagiarism issues, participants will explore essay banks, online plagiarism detection services, and, through discussions and scenarios, consider approaches to deterring plagiarism. 2. e-Assessment: Tools & Techniques (17th November) This workshop focuses on the tools available for creating online assessment and the practical techniques required to use them effectively.
