I collected some information on cataloguing rates for museum and
archival material and put the results on the Web at
<http://www.willpowerinfo.co.uk/catrates.htm>
There are so many variables that it is difficult to devise a rule of
thumb with any precision, but I hope that the figures there will give
you some pointers that will help you with your estimate. If you, or
anyone else, has data at the end of a project that shows how long it
actually too, I would be glad to add it to make my figures more
representative of practical experience.
