Project Trainer: Electronic Document and Records Management System
Two and a half year contract at a salary of £18,450 – 24,000 bar at £22,512.
As one of the leading local authorities in Information and Records
Management, Gloucestershire County Council has an exciting opening for an
ambitious trainer to be the principal provider of support and training to
staff in the EDRMS roll out. A pilot project has been completed to test the
proposed solution and software, which has been branded as MIDAS and this
post will train all staff in the use of the Corporate EDRMS throughout the
authority.
The role will encompass the planning, design and delivery of training in
the use of MIDAS. It will involve the promotion and publicity of MIDAS
through talks and other means and the production of training materials and
operating manuals. The duties also include some analysis of business
processes and auditing current working methods.
You will be a part of a small team reporting to the Project Manager and
work closely with the Project Lead Trainer and Facilitator. You will need a
recognised training qualification or relevant experience and be an
experienced user of Microsoft office tools. Knowledge of an EDRM system and
local authority working would be an advantage. You will be capable of
prioritising your workload and work with a minimum of supervision.
You will need to be extremely flexible, proactive and enthusiastic with
high levels of inter personal skills. A good degree of tact, persuasion and
advocacy in your approach will be required, as well as being well organised.
