Hello everyone at Zooarch, I have been on your server list for awhile, and
noticed the most diverse topics poping up. In fact, the topics make me a
tad intimidated.
I am researching a very specific field in zooarchaeology (also) - bone
implements.
I want to learn as much as I can about bone tool technology from California
groups, pre-missionization.
I have come across countless articles and books dealing with bone tools from
different times and places, but little has been written on the bone tools
from Native California groups.
There are a handful of great papers and books on the topic by Jeanne Arnold,
Thomas Wake, Blackburn and others.
The only text on use-wear analysis of bone tools I could find was by
Seminov.
I would appreciate any help, thank you immensely, Tina Fulton.
