Dear Iberia subscribers,
The Humbul Humanities Hub http://www.humbul.ac.uk/ is a free service,
funded by the AHRB and JISC, which discovers, evaluates and catalogues
online resources relevant for learning, teaching and research in the
humanities.
Based at the University of Oxford, and forming part of the Resource
Discovery Network, http://www.rdn.ac.uk/, Humbul aims to direct the FE
and HE communities to the very best of the World Wide Web for the
humanities.
Hispanic Studies is an area of Humbul which is enjoying particular
growth at present: http://www.humbul.ac.uk/spanish/. This section of the
Humbul catalogue currently holds approximately 300 freely available,
quality online resources and the collection grows daily.
Of interest to you may be Humbul's dedicated electronic journal section,
http://www.humbul.ac.uk/ejournals/, which gives immediate access to the
best online, refereed journals in the humanities. A substantial number
of journals for Hispanic Studies are accessible here.
Humbul welcomes contributions from our subject communities: please send
any comments you may have about our service via our feedback form,
http://www.humbul.ac.uk/feedback.html/, or tell us about resources you
feel deserve to be catalogued in Humbul:
http://www.humbul.ac.uk/submit/. If you are looking for scholarly online
resources for a particular topic, please let us know and we will be
happy to locate suitable material for you.
Humbul offers a number of additional services, including an email alert
and a function allowing you to dynamically include Humbul records within
your own Web pages. See http://www.humbul.ac.uk/about/index.html or
contact us for more information ([log in to unmask]).
I do hope that you will find resources of interest in Humbul, and that
our service will be of use to your work.
Kind regards,
Shoshannah Holdom
