While I quite well understand and share the meaning of the concept
you have put forward in your 2nd "mindset" above, I am nonetheless
not comfortable at all with the word "Opportunist". From my French
culture perspective, the usual connotation behind the word is rather,
unduly, negative.
Wouldn't there be in English a better word to (more positively)
convey the new phenomenon of what most of us on this List do in our
daily lives as various ways of Design practice ?
