Thanks. Weibel presented his virtual museum project at a symposium in
Salzburg a year or so before that and I think Shaw presented what
turned into this project there. Right after that Weibel joined ZKM as
director. Weibel's project was a a computer program that didn't have a
specific installation aspect to it that I remember. Perhaps this is it.
I'll have to dig back through my files for the specifics.
But it does pose an interesting dilemma: what happens when the means of
conservation is also an art work?
