The Chemistry of Planets and Where they Come From
proving v. popular - but there's some spaces still if you would like to
register......
will be held at the Department of Physics, University of Strathclyde,
Glasgow, Scotland on Thursday 5th & Friday 6th January 2006
(organized by the Astrophysical Chemistry group of the RSC / RAS)
SUPA and ASTROSURF sponsored bursaries are available to assist up to 30
PhD / postdoctoral attendees, who present their work as a poster / talk at
the meeting - see website for details.
Costs are £25 for members of the group and £35 for non members, those
wanting to join the group and become a member get a discounted rate
of £30! Costs include lunches BOTH days, tea, coffee and attendance at all
sessions of the meeting. Talks and posters are solicited from all attendees.
PLEASE NOTE - Places can not be guaranteed AFTER the closing date - and
registration will be charged at £35 flat rate after Dec 16th 2005 (and 'on
the door' - where no catering can be provided)

Planets, Exo-planets and their Chemistry - Prof. Peter Hauschildt (Hamburg)
Exo-planet Detection & Probing Earth-Like Planets - Prof. Keith Horne (St.
Andrews)
On Thursday evening there will also be a dinner and whisky tasting arranged
in a local restaurant serving Scottish Food - afterwards the site has a
club, piano bar and various lounges to cater for all tastes!!
