The point Adrian rightly raises is not, it seems, about whether
particular films/philosophies are limited (it seems hard to deny that
a singular theory or film is limited). But, instead, the point is that
the limitation is met via the narrow range of texts called upon in
discussions. This is a limitation of a whole other kind... there seems
to be a canon of purportedly "worthy" recent films which are discussed
over and over.
