A one-day conference on 'Graduates as Global Citizens: quality
education for life in the 21st century' will be held on 13 April 2005
at Woburn House, London, and should be of particular interest to HEI

A follow-up two day conference on 12-13 September at Bournemouth
University will address the topic of 'Education for Sustainable
Development: Graduates as Global Citizens'. This will discuss the role
of higher education in preparing graduates for a world where
sustainable development is critical. Contributions are invited: the
deadline for submission is 29 April. For further details on the
