Leeds University Special Collections does not charge, but requires a
detailed form to be completed, and we may charge for publication.
We are beginning to keep statistics of how many requests we get for
taking own photos, is anyone else doing this?
Thanks

At TNA the service is free of charge, but users are still required to
seek licences from the Image Library (and pay) if they wish to use
images they have taken for anything other than non-commercial research,
private study or education purposes. Tim

Dear All,
I know that the issue of self-service photography had been discussed a
lot recently, but I would be interested to find out whether services
charge
readers for self service photography and if so how much they charge.
At Manchester Central Library we want to allow users to take photographs
of material, but senior management want us to introduce a charge for
this.
Many thanks
Kevin
