As you all probably know by now that BIORAD in California is not going to
support the REMEDI-HPLC drug screening system in about two years. There are
rumors abound that the BIORAD's European branch will continue to support
this HPLC analyzer. It is my understanding that Europe has more analyzers
than North America.
This analyzer has been a workhorse for us. Our workload is such that we
could keep two analyzers busy most of the time! We use it for both urine
drug screening of emergency room patients as well as monitoring opiate
dependent patients in treatment programs as well as many different program.
1) Can someone enlighten me on rumors on the European branch of BIORAD?.
2) What alternatives are you considering once this system is not supported?
thanks
bhushan
