Dear listmembers (principally in the UK)
The Robert Gaddie Meeting
Recent Guidelines and Recommendations: Impact on Laboratory Services
(includes the Randox sponsored Grade A Trainees presentations)
Austin Court - between NIA & ICC - Birmingham
30th November 2005
As of today, 50 places have been booked out of the maximum of 70 for this meeting.
This does not include ACBWM Committee members (not all of whom have registered) and speakers. Realistically, there are only about 15 places left for ordinary delegates.
If you want to attend, urgent action is therefore needed! (The June meeting was oversubscribed and I was turning away people right up to the day before.)
Everything you need to know is at http://www.ukneqas.org.uk/special/acbwmmeet.htm
I have temporarily disabled the online registration form as people were experiencing problems. As I write, however, our web hosting company (Active 24 - aka Virtual Internet) is moving the site to their newest server to fix the unreliability of the MS FrontPage extensions. As soon as this is done, the online form will be re-enabled. In the meantime, you are kindly requested to download a paper form from the web page and submit this by post.
We have already arranged our next meeting which is on 28th June 2006 (same location) and will have a Paediatric Biochemistry theme. Registrations for this will be enabled towards the end of December. This meeting will have an increased maximum of 150 places and is expected to generate a lot of interest, so put the date in your diary and watch this list for the first announcement of the programme.
regards to all
