First, absolutely all you who have already responded to Chris: isn't
butting in the point here? And it was interesting.
I have always thought I could read cummings aloud, & following the
syntax & other signals.
But my best memory is of a concert here year ago by a folk-rock duo
(whose name escapes me at the moment), when they suddenly absolutely
Rocked 'Billy the Kid is dead,' the woman belting it out & screaming
the last line. Every hair in the auditorium, I'm sure, was raised high.
Amazing.
