Low Temperature Geochemistry and Earth Surface Processes
The Centre for Geosciences (http://www.geosciences.gla.ac.uk), University of Glasgow, is seeking
to appoint a Research/Academic Fellow with expertise in low temperature geochemistry as part of
its commitment to building research excellence in the field of surface and near-surface Earth
processes.
The Academic Fellowship scheme (see http://www.rcuk.ac.uk/acfellow) aims to facilitate the
progressive translation of active young researchers into permanent academic positions within the
University over a period of 5 years.
We are seeking someone with research experience at the interface of low temperature
geochemistry and earth surface processes in areas such as (but not restricted to):
* geochemical cycling
* stable and/or radiogenic isotope geochemistry
* geochemistry of weathering and soils
* water geochemistry
* low-T thermochronology/geochronology
