I did, indeed, make a typo in my posting, and John Briggs is correct, I
should have written "Belgic Gaul."
In another posting John Briggs also pointed out some historical
problems, regarding the identity of Botolph, and listed some current
works on the issue. Thanks, John.
The bio of Botolph in my posting was merely a copy of the Legenda (the,
"For the Legend") that is printed in my breviary.
