medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Marijim,
that's good, but what was the context? How do we know that Chr'm is the
author? Sicud Joannes episcopus / constantinopolitanus ... etc. dicit
in...??? Is this a Sentence commentary or a biblical commantary? Is the
ms. 15th c, or the text, too?
The wording is not entirely alien from Chr'm, quite similar phrases show
up abundantly but as I said, I found no precise parallel.
Best,
George

Dear George, Many thanks for trying to help me find the source
attributed to
Chrysostom. The passage I sent is from Douce 134, a 15th century ms. in
the
Bodleian Library. All best wishes Marijim Thoene
