I was away, and am only now catching up - I have, however, decide to weigh
in on the original point at issue (see previous message).
As I said, a feast of the translation would normally only commemorate the
original translation (to a shrine). If it is indeed a later move that is
being commemorated, that would really be scraping the barrel. It does seem
more likely that the new feast commemorates his election.
