Thanks for the info on d'Etaples! I miss that
book.
Yes, the triple Psalters were the gallican,
romanum, and hebraicum
in three parallel columns. The Eadwine Psalter is
a triple Psalter in
Latin ... Gallican in a broad central column with
the Hebraicum
and Romanum in two parallel narrow columns that
add up in width
to the one broad column of the Gallican. BUT, an
Anglo-Norman
version is written interlinearallyl in the
Hebraicum and OE in the
Romanum. So, a quincuplex -- of sorts. It also has
commentaries.
