All,
Right, who's going to ADASS, and between what dates?
I'm going to get the conference team (see below) to book us all into the
hotel and get it over with! Tim, could you fill me in on the details of
the call where they told you that there wasn't any rooms left?
My current plan is to fly into Pasadena on the evening before the
conference begins (October 23rd) and leave the States on the morning after
(October 28th). Would everybody be happy about this? Or do you want
different times.
I'll leave off time tomorrow lunctime, anyone that mails me back, I'll
book the hotel (unless they come through with the website discount code
before then).
Al.

I am terribly sorry you are having a problem. I have called the Sheraton
3 times, each time saying I want to make a reservation for the dates of
the ADASS, each time I was asked it I was associated with a conference
or meeting, when I said ADASS, I was offered the $99 rate.
Can you tell me what time, your time and I will convert the time, you
called the Sheraton. I am not saying you did not get a reservation agent
who is giving incorrect information, Armed with the time of day you are
calling, I will check with the hotel and see if I can pin down our
problem agent.
I could not book at the $99 rate on the web, even though a web page was
set up. I am currently working with the hotel to see what promotion code
needs to be entered.
If you would like, I will be happy to call the hotel for you and make
the reservation. I do understand that this is not the final answer, but
would get you booked while I am working this issue.
Please supply any information you can and I will continue to pursue this
on my end.
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.
