medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Eusebius would disagree with the Light from the East (and with Phyllis):
"Her son's influence caused her to embrace Christianity after his victory over Maxentius. This is directly attested by Eusebius (Vita Constantini, III, xlvii)"
I just got out of bed and am muddled at the moment, so forgive my perplexity. But I must ask: why would it not be possible for someone to convert after her son's (or anyone else's) death?

Is that possible? Constantine converted on his death bed.
Bill.
