Hi Norman,
here's the first real Solaris problem. It seems that the built-in "test"
of Solaris sh doesn't like "test -e", and you use this a couple of places
in "starconf". I think you just need to move to "test -f", but I'll leave
the change to you as I see there are some notes that refer to the specific
behaviour of "test -e" and softlinks -- a quick test by me shows that
under Solaris "test -f" returns false if the target of a softlink doesn't
exist (which looks like what you're after).
