Dear Nick
This is a nice challenge in an age where everyone else seems to have gone
digital but I'm hopeful that, with a host of map cabinets, you may still
need to repair them from time to time and may have a useful contact. The
particular model concerned is the Ozalid Ozaplan VS30 Vertifile which has a
gas strut to support the lid. The strut has ceased to function in one
cabinet here and another at Wantage Library. Mis-aligned retaining prongs
are the other identified problem! If you can suggest a solution I'll be most
grateful.
Best wishes
Malcolm
