I use the Post Office too with proof of posting. Had a visit on 14th June from JCQ Inspector and he was happy with procedure.

I just use the Post Office - proof of postage - it's cheaper than a carrier and (touch wood) I've not lost anything yet!

Subject: Examination Script Posting[Scanned]
Now everybody has sent almost all their examination scripts back to Awarding Bodies/examiners I’d be interested to know which methods seem to be the best value for money. i.e cheap, trackable and don’t get lost!!!
We currently use TNT at a cost of around £10.00 per package, we do not insist on signatures as most examiners don’t like this however at least the package is trackable. In the main the service has been good but at £10.00 per package does seem to be quite expensive.
Has anyone any better solutions to this one that doesn’t involve completing loads of paperwork.
Thanks
Richard
