medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear colleagues,
This is not a query about the Middle Ages per se but about the methodology of
studying it. At a couple of the sessions I attended at Kalamazoo in May, people
were talking about "Master Narratives" in a way which suggested that the concept
was common knowledge, i.e. they didn't explain what they meant by it. Can anyone
enlighten me, or point me towards literature on the concept?
Many thanks,
Jim Bugslag
