I am currently working on my dissertation too and I am using Qualrus. I
would say it is worth looking at. I have 23,000 pages to code out of 448
documents and I'm using the autocode feature. However, while it does
eliminate the need for me to read every single line, I have still had to
review each coded segment to make a judgment call on the need for the codes
and appropriateness, and that still takes a lot of time. This may just be
the nature of my study or I may not have set it up as well as it could
be. Qualrus was especially good for my study since it was the only
software that took text files with tables.
