Dear All,
Do you know of work (your own or others) in using question logbooks for
teaching?
We are piloting the use of small spiral bound logbooks as a means of
improving question-asking behaviour. Our literature search on this has
turned up:
Dawes M, Sampson U. Knowledge management in clinical practice: a systematic
review of information seeking behavior in physicians.Int J Med Inf. 2003
Aug;71(1):9-15. which looks at the many descriptive studies of doctors
questions, but we can't find any studies of methods to improve
question-recognition behaviour.
Any experience or suggestions welcome!
