Music & The Internet
An updated course from Allegro Training looking at the range of
information sources, suppliers, digital facilities etc for music on the
internet. The course will involve 'hands-on' exercises as part of the
day. This course was originally advertised for 2 June, but will now be
run in the second half of July.
What does it cover?
At the end of the day, delegates will have considered:
* Searching effectively - using the right tool for the job
Monitoring changes to web pages
* Reference tools on the Internet
Assessing the ‘credentials’ of a site
Portals and hubs
* Bibliographies and catalogues on the net

* Mail/discussion lists
Metadata and the future
