medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I have read some months ago "Pragmatic of Human communication", and "Change", by P. Watzlawick and other. Radical constructivism, mental maps, double bind etc. seem come from the medieval thought, full of psychologism and researchs around the soul. I have find many common points and very interesting between the medieval thought constructions (Summae, Quaestiones, Commenta sententiarum etc) and method of communication, and the modern thought, based not only on psychiatric, but also on a philosophical point of view.In Middle Age the divine Revelation is seen as a ring of communication, exitus- reditus, as the human communication by Palo Alto School, for example. But we could say many other, and the debate could be very interesting.
Best wishes
Dr. Claudio Attardi
