Structural Geologist position at RDR Ltd.
Rock Deformation Research Limited is looking to appoint a structural
geologist in the area of 3D structural modelling and seismic
interpretation. The successful candidate should have a higher degree
(MSc or preferably PhD) and experience in 3D seismic interpretation and
3D digital geological model building (e.g. Petrel, IRAP RMS, GoCad).
Experience in fault seal analysis would be a benefit.
RDR Ltd. is a world leader in the development and application of
hydrocarbon and mineral industry related structural analysis. Over the
last 15 years the group has worked on exploration, evaluation and
production projects around the globe for most of the major hydrocarbon
and minerals companies. The group is focussed on developing innovative
new techniques and applying them directly to industry related structural
geological issues.
The successful appointee would join a very active group focussed on
delivering structural consultancy to industry. The person needs to be
self-motivated, confident and comfortable making presentations to
clients. Candidates should have a proven track record of working to both
time and budgetary constraints. The work is highly computer focussed
and IT literacy is essential.
