I agree with both these comments. I have received calls from tutors saying
how 'unfair' it is if a student is studying with another board - therefore
no early result, also queries as to whether the AVCE results were also in,
etc. etc. As you say, these are no use to Exams unless they are in an EDI
file. This process has meant lots of photocopying by us. This was
supposed to allow staff to get re-sit entries in to us earlier, however
none of the subject areas concerned have managed to do this anyway. As you
say 'PR exercise'I think
