I've just put AST V3.2-5 in ftp.starlink.ac.uk and into /classic on
saturn. The changes (mainly prompted by TimJ) since 3.2-4 are:
- Calls to grf functions astGLine and astGattr which would have no effect
are no longer made.
- I've modified the definition of the astINVOKE macro in object.h so that
it does not include a call to astAt if the macro astNOERR is defined.
This means that a module which is defining an interface for another
language (say, Perl, for instance) should include:
#define astNOERR 1
in all its .c files, and should then make its own explicit call to astAt
before calling any other AST function (as the Fortran interface files
do - except that they use the astFORTRAN77 macro instead of astNOERR).
- I've corrected some bugs in the way the astGrfSet function works and
also corrected the public documentation for astGrfSet.
- Default for attribute Tol (plotting tolerance) is now 0.01 (was 0.001).
This should speed plotting up a bit without producing any noticable
degradation. This involves a documentation change.
Since there are no changes to the public interface, I presume JNIAST will
not need any changes.
