The plan was indeed that I do it, after warming up with CCDPACK. Since
things have taken somewhat longer than expected, I think the plans have
to be rethought, and we might end up doing more in parallel than we
originally planned.
I'm working on the documentation right now. I hope to release a
version of that tomorrow, with the aim that it should be sufficient to
let folk start on their simpler packages (with`simpler' being a
function of taste and bravery). At that point I'll start on CCDPACK
and see how things go. So don't you start on KAPPA unless you're
feeling particularly bold, or find my documentation inspiring. If
CCDPACK goes swimmingly, I might at that point say `it's done --
everyone do their own packages'; if it turns out that I need to fix or
add things for CCDPACK, I'll guess I'd have to do the same for KAPPA,
and I'll start on that after CCDPACK.
Has anyone else amongst us actually used autoconf/automake, in the
sense of writing configure.ac or Makefile.am files?
See you,
Norman
