medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Okay, well, that makes sense, as that's how Confessions works. City of
God and some of the other works, however, use line numbers.
In the case of Confessions, you're right about the different section
numbers referring to early printed editions. It seems a safe conclusion
that the same practice was used with the Soliloquia as well.
