Hi everyone Happy New Year
We are experiencing a problem with City & Guilds not offering a refund policy for students registered on NVQ's within 10 weeks and subsequently withdrawn i.e. now we seem to have lost already £1.5k and I was wondering how other centres cope with this problem
This will get even worse as we go through the year as we make more and more registrations
I sent CGLI a letter with the list of withdrawals middle of November but have not received a response yet
My colleague Judith Beckett is a member of the FAB group which is looking at issues with awarding bodies so she will forward this to the group and see if there are any solutions
Perhaps we could lobby City & Guilds en masse to ask them to review their refund policy that they will give us the money back if the student dies or joins the armed forces
