Just some light relief to all this sad / SAD stuff:
I recall recently reading in a decent quality newspsper that some
social scientists have researched what the public think of the
findings of scientific research, and the public are becoming
increasingly sceptical. Which raises the question, should people
accept the findings of this study?
(Maybe the latest version of the old "All Cretans are liars" paradox).
I have also just discovered that if you spell check "oliguria" you get
"lingerie."
