Dear all,
As an archaeozoologist I was asked some time ago to do
an interpretation of the footprints (most of them dog
footprints)on the tiles discovered in the roman town
Porolissum (Dacia Province) in Romania.
To be honst I know almost nothing about the track
interpretation and the possible connection I can
establish. The only thing I saw was an exibit in the
Agricultural Museum in Budapest and Laslo Bartosiewicz
gave me a paper of Leslie Cram (Varieties of dog in
Roman Britain-Bar 889/2000.-Thanks, Laci!).
My request is adressed to those who can guide me
further or can send me some reprints on this subject-
also Leslie Cram's email would be of great help.
Thank you all in advance,
Alex Gudea
