Dear Friends,
This is my last (retirement) day of work with Birkbeck College at the
University of London, and I shortly move to the Clarke Laboratory at
Cambridge as a Leverhulme Senior Fellow for a few years to sit in a
corner there and complete a few projects - mainly to do with the
database for Abu Hureyra, including preparing the archive of the
measurements for the Hureyra web site. This means that my email
address at Birkbeck ends very soon, but my new one at Cambridge will not
begin for a while. So if you need to contact me, please use my home:

Please don't send anything too big as under the white heat of
technological innovation in Mr Blair's Britain our connection is about
as good as two food tins and a length of string.
Best regards to all and I shall be on line with an academic address
soon.
