Dear experts,
I`m wondering about the following "phenomenon": usually a volume of
EPI-datasets in Analyze-Format consists of 3 files (*.img, *.hdr,
*.mat). This remains the same during slice-timing and realignment as
steps of my data-preprocessing. But, the results of the normalization
are 2 files per volume (*.img, *.hdr) ... all mat-files are lost!!! Is
there any explanation for this????
As I suppose a consequence of this is the following, repeatedly written
message, occuring in the matlab-window during individually
data-postprocessing (exactly: during configuration of the specified
design-matrix):
Warning: Cant get default Analyze orientation - assuming flipped
> In C:\Programme\MATLAB\spm2\spm_flip_analyze_images.m at line 9
In C:\Programme\MATLAB\spm2\spm_vol_ana.m at line 105
In C:\Programme\MATLAB\spm2\spm_vol.m (subfunc) at line 93
In C:\Programme\MATLAB\spm2\spm_vol.m (subfunc1) at line 62
In C:\Programme\MATLAB\spm2\spm_vol.m (subfunc2) at line 51
In C:\Programme\MATLAB\spm2\spm_vol.m at line 37
In C:\Programme\MATLAB\spm2\spm_fmri_spm_ui.m at line 361
additionally this made me wondering about the content of the
"spm_flip_analyze_images.m"-file, where "flip" is set to "1"!!! whats
the meaning of this??? how can I be sure about the orientation of my data???
so, to summarize my problems (using SPM2!!!):
1. Who or what has stolen my mat-files???
2. Are the missing files the reason for the "warning-message"???
3. Whats happening with the orientation of my data during pre- and
postprocessing???
I`m looking forward to your suggestions, solutions, self-reports ...
many thanks in advance
Anette
