With apologies for any cross-posting.
The BA (British Association for the Advancement of Science) is currently
recruiting to the post of Regional Officer – Central & South Scotland.
The role entails support for the BA's programmes with adult and young
people audiences. It includes supporting volunteer Branches, event
management and representing the BA to individuals and institutions within
the Central & South Scotland region. The Regional Officers, of whom there
are 12, report to the Manager of the Regions & Branches. The post arises
due to a change in the responsibilities of the existing Regional Officer
for Central & South Scotland, Fiona Selkirk, who will remain a part of the
BA team in Scotland.
The post is offered as a part-time BA staff position. The salary is £7350
for 2.5 days per week. Individuals working for other institutions, who
would be interested in the post on a contractual (non-staff) basis, may
also wish to apply.
Full details of the position (including the role description and details
of how to apply) can be found on our website www.the-ba.net/jobs.
Alternatively, please contact me on [log in to unmask] or on 020 7019

Completed applications should be returned by 5pm Monday 14 June;
interviews will take place on 22 or 23 June, in Edinburgh or Glasgow. It
