In which case, to compound the offence and as a service to
the community, you may find this "tidied up" version easier
to read. And just to be controversial, while I think Frank
does sensationalise the issue and ignores a lot of good work
going on in some (parts of some) institutions, there is
(regrettably) also a lot of underlying truth in what he
says. And while that continues to be the case, we will all
suffer the undermining of the general reputation for
academic integrity, not least because few institutions can
afford to compete for students under the banner of "Come to
X University - we're tougher on copying".
