Hi Rob,
I have been working on the graphic design history in
the Greater China region. I have this website on the
exhibition that I put together for the Cooper Union
School of Art in September 2001. The exhibition was
entitled "Chinese graphic design towards the
international sphere." The exhibition was a result of
the Lubalin Curatorial Fellowship that I received from
the Cooper Union School of Art. The online exhibition
can still be accessed at
http://www.cooper.edu/art/lubalin/cgd/index.html.
I also have an article published in Design Issues,
Vol. XVII, Number 4, Autumn 2001, p. 51- 71. The
title of the article is: "Detachment and Unification:
A Chinese graphic design history in Greater China
since 1979."
I don't know what kind of existing materials that you
already have, and what your talk is about. Hope you
will find the above information useful.
Cheers
