I would like to correct Cindy Jackson's characterisation
of Design Philosophy Papers. Having just reviewed all
past issues, I find that my 2 papers are the only ones
apart from a short piece by Bill McNeill and one by
Aidan Davison that site Heidegger. A couple of Tony Fry's
editorials have engaged with Heidegger along with many
other philosophers, several East Asian. Only a wilfull
misreading of even one or two issues could marginalise
this publication as Heideggerian.
On the issue of why a Heideggerian publication would
deserve marginalisation, I would like to note that
despite Heidegger inspiring paranoia in some, he is
certainly not responsible for the diverse misreadings
that exploit his work in unrigorous ways.
