Dear Colleagues,
We have agreed to organise a 'Government' stream at the 2004 OR Society
Conference, which is due to be held in York from 7-9 September. In essence,
what is needed is up to 12 speakers, each of whom would do a 25-minute talk
and provide a 200-word abstract. People who are especially keen can become
a 'Keynote speaker', which means that they get 50 minutes, and also get to
write a paper for the conference brochure.
Our motto is: Applications of OR in Government--at all levels, in all
places, by all means!
Do feel free to submit abstracts at www.gors.org.uk, or to contact us as
below with proposals or queries.
Thanks for your attention,
Howard Turner
